boyfriend jeans.
I work in a pretty big jeans place, where I see tons of denim and other stuff.
The most worn jeans or pants at the moment in my city is the chino,
now followed persistent from the boyfriend jeans.

I worn pants from my boyfriend before but this what we sell in the stores
is definitely no boyfriend pants, unless your boyfriend is a thin emo who's wearing very slim fit pants.
This so called "boyfriend" are a pain in the ass.

So don't run out and buy that shit, ask your boyfriend, maybe he can help.
If not here is a nice and more true jeans if you like a loose fit.

I haven't blogged for days and it feels like eternity. I'm sitting in our new flat, cardboard mountains growing over me and the grey of the kitchen is now white.

I'm now going to work for two weeks with 75 children, but after that I'm back with fresh energy!

Everytime I'm on a fashion exhibition in Germany I dream about gettin one of these bags. They look like bags we were wearing in school long long time ago. It's a German lable called Haeute "Skins", which makes this beautiful bags out of leather. But there's more to come! On their site you can choose everything! The size, colours, clasps, thread and the inside. That suits me fine, cause I like to play with colours. And if you want to know how your bag could look like, you can create your bag directly on their site.I think on the next Dekumo in Stuttgart I need to say YES, cause I really really adore this bags.

I love high heels. I love to have them in my closet. But I don't love to wear them, cause after 2 hours I would like to crop my feets from my legs and I'm simply too big with them. Everyone is just smaller all of a sudden. Don't get me wrong, I have some really awesome Highheels which I adore and sometimes wear, but the rest is just flats, sneakers, ballerinas, old men shoes and boots. And this plateau/wedge fashion at the moment, totally not my thing. I don't wanna be a giant. That's why I finally ordered my boots which I was watching for the last few weeks. I'm so excited! New boots and I'm gettin my closet back! Just 23 days, and I'm going home. Wow.Can't wait to open the asos package and put these babys on in my new appartment.

I visited somebody in the hospital, and the nurses were wearing these funny white tunic with blue squares.
3 days after that I spotted this tunic outside on the parking lot of the hospital! Lucky day for me, here I draped it as an bolero, not sure yet what exactly to make out of it.

While walking around in the city, waiting for a doctor's appointment, my boyfriend who has an eye for "trash" spotted an old metal box behind a fence. An old box of Rothmans King Size - the best tobacco money can buy- world famous since 1890. We were so excited to open the box, like a treasure which was kept the last 50 years. And inside of the box?

These boxes are so beautiful, thinking about doing a matchbox installation, waiting for some ideas to come.

I already wrote about "Mull Halul", but not what I found there... So here is my new baby. It's a huge raffia bag, with a really nice pattern, a leathertop that you can close and leather handholds. It's so big that I could carry my cat and all his little friends. Now I need in my bag small bags to find all my stuff. But hey, I don't care cause this bag is exactly what I want. And all that for around 15€, what else could I ask for?

I found this beautiful necklace on a market in Hertzelia. This nice piece is made out of old watch parts and every piece is handmade and one of a kind. This young talented man is making out of trash, wonderful, moony jewelry. We found an apartment. Back in the west of Stuttgart, in a house from 1902. I'm so excited...Tuss our lovely fashionable cat, my wonderful boyfriend and I are going to move! In around a month, what sounds like eternity, we're flying back over the sea. He's going to carry a cat and I'm going to carry clothes...a lot of clothes. But till then we have some time, which we use for finding the perfect phone. These two made it in the last round, the red highheel or the green apple? What do you think???

second hand heaven

I expected something fantastic, but what I found just knocked my socks off. It was beautiful and idyllic. The hippie in me felt instantly comfortable, cause this lovely store is located in the Kibbutz Givat Haim Ichud, close to Natanya, and I really like this way of living together. "Mull Halul" - what means - across the chicken-coop, is really a gold mine. They have dresses and asseccoires from all over the world and all time. For me, it was almost too much. It's like you're 5 years old and your mummy tells you that you're allowed to play with all the dolls in the show glass. From Art nouveau weddingdresses and coats, sixties clothes to eighties shiny shoulder stuff, beautiful nightwear and bags. For me it was a complete success, but I'm starting to get worried about my suitcase weight...cause I always forget that I want to take all my clothes back. That's why I have now an official, don't buy more clothes note. Damn!

Today I learned some important stuff.

1. Don't go to a doctor when he's under time pressure and 2. It's too hot for accessoires, but I couldn't get out without my new awesome long linen vest, which I found in a small second hand shop in Hertzelia. I searched long for a nice piece like this, now I just have to wait for my golden pocketwatch to find me...Can't wait till tomorrow, cause we're making a trip to a huge second hand collector. Feeling like a pirat just before treasure island. Ho ho!

Last summer I bought this dress. Twice. In blue and in grey. Everyone was wearing it, but I didn't care, cause this dress was just awesome. I wanted it, I needed it and for around 10€ I couldn't say no. But this summer everything will be different! Another country other fashion and my dress will rise up again. Ok, ich muss ehrlich sein, ich habe ein Problem. Ich bin süchtig.
Wenn ich Karos, schräge Muster oder geile Prints sehe muss ich sie einfach haben. Mittlerweile ist es schon so weit, dass ich nur noch gemusterte Sachen habe, was mich vor neue Probleme stellt, denn nicht alles passt zu allem. Eines meiner absoluten Lieblinsteile ist diese Pan Am Tasche die ich mir in Amsterdam für ca.20 € gekauft habe. Hat die richtige Größe und das richtige Muster, wenn man dann mal nur eine Jeans und ein Shirt anzieht reißt die Tasche alles raus! Deswegen, seit mutig, bekennt Farbe und Form!

Ok, I must be honest, I have a problem. I'm addicted.
If I see checks, crazy patterns or awesome prints I must have them. Meanwhile, the time has come, that I have just clothes with patterns, what brings me new problems, cause not everything fits to everything. One of my absolute favorite pieces is this Pan Am bag, which I bought in Amsterdam for about 20€. It has the right size and the right pattern and if you wear just jeans and a t-shirt the bag saves your outfit! Therefore, be fearless, confess to colors and shapes!

Finally my first exhibition in Tel Aviv! It was also the first exhibition of the artist Naomi Mendel and in my opinion a great sucess. Her paintings showing cutouts of buildings, reflections and views through bottles. The paintings are full of little details which combine with the colours like a puzzle. With her 28 years, the artist has put together an impressive exhibition. I really liked the second picture, but I didn't have enough change...

Endlich, meine erste Vernissage in Tel Aviv! Es war auch die erste Austellung der Künstlerin Naomi Mendel und meiner Meinung nach ein voller Erfolg. Ihre Bilder zeigen z.B. Ausschnitte von Gebäuden, Spiegelungen und Blicken durch Flaschen. Die Bilder sind voller kleiner Details, die sich mit den Farben wie ein Puzzel verbinden. Mit Ihren 28 Jahren hat die Künstlerin doch eine beachtliche Austellung zusammengestellt. Am liebsten hätte ich mir das 2. Bild gekauft, mir hat jedoch das nötige Kleingeld gefehlt.

Meine Freundin Beth findet allwöchentlich geile Kleidung im Müll. Ja - richtig gehört - im Müll. Am Anfang fand ich es erst ekelhaft, aber nachdem ich sah, was sie sich alles zusammen gesammelt hatte, war ich doch schwer begeistert. Ich selber hatte nicht soviel Glück damit... nie hat mich der Müll angelächelt. Aber heute geschah es! Auf dem Weg zum TachanaMerkasit (Busbahnhof), sah ich ein paar Männer die Klamotten und Müll aus einem Haus trugen. Und was haben meine Augen in dem Müllhaufen erspäht? Diese 3 geilen Teile! Bin dann auch direkt zum Waschsalon gerannt um die Sache zu waschen. Danke, an meinen tapferen Freund, der die Klamotten aus dem Müll fischte...
Found all these pieces in the trash!!!

Hier trage ich ein türkisenes Hauspullikleidchen mit schwarzem Glen check Karo,Reißverschluss und einen breiten Bund am Saum. Das Ganze habe ich mit einem einfachen schwarzen Gürtel aufgepeppt. Sieht doch scharf aus!? Trägt sich auch super angenehm...

Dieses Kleid ist wahrscheinlich mein Favorit, obwohl ich das erste Kleid auch echt super finde. Es hat eine schöne Webtechnik und ist voll mit meinen Lieblingsfarben! Grün, lila, türkis, schwarz und zusätzlich sind noch Goldfäden miteingewebt. Sieht halt einfach toll aus das Kleid, diesmal mit dem Gürtel auf der Hüfte.

Das letzte Fundstück ist ein schwarz weißer Blazer mit schrägem Rauten Karo und grünem Saum. Hat einen richtig schönen taillierten Schnitt...
Macht ein bisschen das Auge krank, aber ansonsten ist der Blazer auch echt nich ohne!

Als Fazit muss ich sagen: Es hat sich gelohnt, ich habe mich noch nie so über Kleidung für umme gefreut! Auch Müll kann glücklich machen!

Already with 4 years I learned that the best dressed woman was my grandma, no one else had such a sense for colours, shapes, patterns and cuts. When I was about 10, her wardrobe with all the hats, dresses, bags, jewelry and shoes was just pure madness. There was nothing better. And to show you all what a fashionable woman my grandma was, I decided to pay hommage to her in my blog.

One of my favorite pieces, is this this tiny delicate gold watch which I received from my grandma and I actually wear it every day cause you should always know what time it is! And the best part of the clock, it's automatic, sometimes it just stops the time. And that is a nice feeling...

Liebe auf den ersten Blick

Es gibt immer wieder diese Momente, wo man etwas sieht und sich sofort verliebt. Mir ist es nicht anders gegangen. Beim stöbern in einem Schuhladen, habe ich zufälligerweise diese wunderschönen Ohrringe gefunden. Pfauenfedern sind ja generell eine schöne Sache, am Ohr können sie aber nach einger Zeit ausfransen, dreckig werden oder einfach nur ausfallen. Aber mit meinen neuen Ohrringen brauche ich mich nicht zu sorgen, denn sie leuchten zwar in allen Farben aber da sie aus Plastik sind werde ich hier bestimmt nicht Federn lassen.
Da kann ich nur sagen: Immer die Augen offenhalten, denn man weiß nie wann einem ein Lieblingsstück über den Weg läuft...

Da habe ich doch tatsächlich den Laden gefunden nach dem sich alle Mädchen sehnen. Voll wunderschöner Kleider, zierlichen Hemdchen und schicken Accessoires. Die Farben reichen von weiß, eierschale, rosa, bis hin zu lila, blau und grün, die Stoffe sind einzigartig und die Schnitte zauberhaft! Leider ist der Laden nichts für Schnäppchenjäger, Kleider kosten zwischen 50 und 100€. Aber für sein Geld kriegt man hier auf alle Fälle etwas geboten. Für mich viel leider kein Teil ab, leider, aber nächstes werde ich nicht wiederstehen können...

Ich sage ja zu Pärchenoutfits.
Hört sich schwachsinnig an und kann auch schwachsinnig aussehen, aber richtig angestellt sieht es einfach geil aus.

Durch Zufall ist diese blau-weiß Kombination entstanden. Links das gepunktete Kleid aus den 60ern, gekauft auf dem Shuk Ha Pish Pishim (Flohmarkt von Jafo) für 25€ und rechts das dazu passende Hemd mit blau weiß grauen Streifen aus der Verkleidungskiste eines Kibbutz in der Nähe von Eilat. Deswegen ran an den Mann oder Frau und zusammen auf Kleiderjagd gehen, am besten auf dem Flohmarkt, denn da gibts für jeden was!

Filz ist nicht gleich Filz.

Wenn ich an Filzschmuck denke, sehe ich kitschige Blumen und nichts was ich tragen würde. Als mir aber dann meine Kleidung ausging, nach 2 Wochen ohne Waschmaschine, musste ich mir etwas einfallen lasse...und meine Wahl viel auf Filz!

Ganz einfach zum selbermachen, man braucht nur Schere, Nadel & Faden und schon kann man innerhalb von 30min sein Outfit retten. Dafür benötigt man Filzplatten, Haarklammern und Fantasie. Mein Motto: Mut zum Hut!!! auch wenn es Filz ist ;)

Wenn man bei uns in Deutschland Essen nach Hause bestellt,
kommen Styropor und Aluschalen.
Bestellt man jedoch einen Burger von Moses in Tel Aviv, bekommt man bunte Papierverpackungen die schön und durchdacht sind. Und das ist noch nicht alles! Das ganze kommt in dieser wunderschönen Tüte, die es in mehreren Farben gibt. Ob türkis und lila oder orange und rot, für jeden ist etwas dabei. Also habe ich dann gleich mal all meinen Freundinnen bunte Tasche mitgebracht...
Und ja, die Burger habe ich auch alle gegessen.

Sonntagmorgen bin ich viel zu spät aufgewacht und hätte fast den großen Flohmarkt, ein echtes Highlight in der Stuttgarter Innenstadt, verpasst. Aber selbst um halb 2 konnte ich noch richtigen Schnäppchen finden. Eine von diesen Perlen war diese geniale rotbraune Ledertasche.
Einfach super! Schlicht, aber mit kleinen Details und eine tolle Farbe! Und das ganze für nur 2 €!

Passte dann auch super zu dem Schal mit den strahlenden Farben, den ich in Jerusalem auf dem Markt gekauft habe. Leider war dieser ein Geschenk... Abschied tut weh.

Erste Schritte zurück in meine alte Heimat.Stuttgart.Spannend.
Trete ein in eine andere, neue Welt! Ich bin schon ganz aufgeregt... wer hätte das gedacht? Mein erster Post:

Heute war ich mal wieder auf Kleiderjagd in meiner alten Heimatstadt und habe dabei was feines ausgegraben:
Eine überdimensionale Haarschleife, nach der sich sogar Schneewittchen auf der Strasse umdrehen würde. Egal wie wir morgens aussehen, egal welches Kleidungsstück wir halbblind aus dem Schrank gezogen haben, mit einem "fascinator" wird jeder Tag sonnig.
Ich hoffe, dass wir bald soweit sind, uns ganze Fruchtkörbe auf den Kopf zusetzen, wie Carmen Miranda!

Who would have thought it? My first post:

Today I was back hunting clothes in my old city and I found something awesome: An oversized hair bow, after Snow White would even turn on the road. No matter what we look like in the morning, no matter what piece of fabric we have pulled half blind from the wardrobe, a "fascinator" makes every day sunny. I hope we're soon ready to put whole fruitbaskets on our heads, like Carmen Miranda!
